eBay Buys, A New Swimsuit & The Tax Increase

Well, yesterdays post got you ladies talking and I LOVE it!!
I read every one of your testimonials and they were fab!
Luckily, I dont have to make any decisions regarding this topic for quite some time.
We've already made the decision to live in our seperate places for the transition back and I definitely think its the right one for us. So for at least 6 months -1 year Im just gonna go with the flow and see where life takes us.

Now for some far less important news.

I've fallen into my eBay addiction again (with much better decision making this go round) and have purchased quite a few steals if I much say so!

{Tory Burch Sandals = $36}

{Kate Spade Flats = $16}

{Each of these graphic tees (new) were $14 for Chris}

And I have my eye on a few other things right now!

In light of my Yeast Free Lifestyle, which is still going really well to my surprise, I purchased this adorable swimsuit last week! Im so excited summer is on its way! We have 2 destination beach weddings this year!! LOVE the beach. LOVE vacation. LOVE weddings!! Summer cant get here fast enough!!

{Now if only I could look like her in it!! Oh Yeast Free work for me!}

Last, Im not sure about you but my Facebook BLEW UP yesterday regarding the 2% tax increase. Like any normal person I dont want taxes to go up. I WANT to keep my money. DUH!

But can I please express to you the happiness I felt when I saw my paycheck. By the way everyone was talking I was expecting $400 to be taken out of my paycheck in taxes. Obviously this was before I knew it was 2%. Taxes going up SUCKS but people are declaring the end of the world on FB and trying to petition to impeach the president over 2%? Maybe its just me, but Im just glad it wasnt higher.

Yay for the administation we voted for!

This should get people talkin... ;)

  4. 1. I love the sandals and swimsuit! I might have to save up and splurge on a VS swimsuit this year!
    2. Yeah it was only 2% but the fiancé and I are losing about 120$ per month and for us right now, that blows because I am in school and working a crap ass job and trying to plan a wedding! BOO!

  5. You always find such great deals on eBay! Mind sharing what shops you use/trust? Or do you just search for specific items you're looking for?

  8. I used to be a crazy eBayer but have gotten away from it lately. I need to get back on it after seeing those amazing deals you snagged! Girl needs some new shoes!!! :)

    I hate that my paycheck is less, but it's life I suppose. Just means we need to be smarter and spend less!

  11. That bikini is so cute! You will look awesome in it!

    And I actually can say that surpringly, I did notice the tax increase! I've never noticed it before (granted, maybe this is the first time I've been working full time during a tax increase? Who knows haha) but I was definitely a little sad about it.

    But like you said, it could be WAY worse. And I certainly don't want to be responsible for making decisions that effect the entire country, so you go Administration!! :)

  14. i'm not too happy about the taxes going up..i got a pretty decent raise this year and unfortunately i barely see it..i guess it's better than it going down but still i was excited about it, only to be disappointed. but i'm trying not to complain cause that won't change anything. oh and since i didn't even vote for president, i might just need to keep my mouth shut.

    love those zebra flats. they look comfy, too.

  15. It might not hurt everyone, but I run my own business, and the taxes that I have for my company, and now for my own paycheck...disastrous. Makes me sad that many people aren't starting business - great women, with great ideas - because of the cost involved.

  16. With the economy the way it is, 2% is going to hurt a lot of people. It may not seem like THAT big of a deal or that it's ONLY 2% but it is going to affect many, many people who are already struggling.

  17. I hope those bandeau tops work for you and your new girls, cuz they sure as hell don't work for me and mine. My nipples are almost always dying to pop out of those tops. I feel like the only tops that work for me now, post-surgery, are halter top suits.

  19. did you ever do that yacht week?? did i totally miss it? lol! i remember you mentioning it and i became obsessed!

    also, i didn't realize it was a tax increase? i thought it was that they let a payroll tax cut expire or something to do specifically with payroll so that's why we see less $$. I think mine was like $50 less...super annoying but could be worse. I just wish i knew that that money was actually going to pay off our government's debt!! (i actually don't think this is a dem v rep issue, i think whoever's in power spends all our money on ridic things!)
