Inspire Me - Healthy Changes To Come!

Hey there.

Its Thursday and this week is flying by.
Doesnt it always happen that way when youre on vacation.
Never fails to drag on during a work week!
Anywho, back to business!

So this Inspire Me - Healthy series seems to be motivating a lot of you. I get weekly comments and emails telling me how much its helping so many of you and that seriously warms my heart!
With that said, Ive noticed that less people are linking up each week. Im not sure if people are sticking with their plans but are not wanting to write the same repetitive post so they have opted out of the linkup or people are just over it!

From the start, Raven and I said we didnt want to let the link up die a slow death. We agreed that when we felt people were over it, we would be over it too!
So we are throwing around the idea or alternating the subject of series. 
Basically the Inspire Me series would change each week to something new.
Examples:
Inspire Me - Home Decor
Inspire Me - Vacation Spots
Inspire Me - Fall Wardrobe

So my question to you all, is what is your opinion?? 
Do you think we should alternate the subject?
Or do you think we should add an alternate option and keep the Healthy options in place?
We could easily have one linkup with 2 options, ex. Inspire Me Healthy & Inspire Me - Home Decor and you could pick which one you wished to write about??

More than anything we want you to be excited about the weekly linkup and continue to participate! So please let me know how you feel!!

Losing 12lbs was NOT easy and like anyone else it was hard to stay motivated but having all of you really helped me!

  1. I am loving this link up! Each week I have participated I've received such wonderful comments that have been inspiring me to keep working hard towards fitness. Additionally, I've made some great new blog friends through the link up!

    I think people are definitely looking forward to this every week, but maybe you could do an every other week link up?

    I'm now in the habit of just using Thursdays to talk about health and fitness in general and I think that is going to stick!

  3. You look AMAZINGGGG! Go girl!! Now this is just an opinion...and ill link up either eat..but I like it fitness based. I don't do decor and fashion too much...maybe sports wear..I'm sure I could figure a way to write a post...I like it as just fitness..I think what we need to stress to people is accountability is key..even if you had a bad week...LINK UP ANYWAY..its okay to not be perfect.

    Just a thought!

  4. I like the Inspire Me: Healthy! I think it's important for all of us that are trying to lose weight. I'm taking a break from it this week just because I needed to, but I'm back on it next week for sure! If anything, give us the option of what we want to write about - weight loss or home decor. But please don't end it all together :) & Congrats on the 12lbs you look AMAZING!

  6. I do love this link up, and it's been so great for me. I like the idea of maybe every other week doing the healthy link up or giving two options a week.

    12 pounds is amazing girl! You look so good. I'm jealous : )

  7. Personally I like the link up being there to keep me accountable on thursdays. It's been amazing at keeping me in line and I love socializing with the other ladies :) Btw, awesome job on that 12 lbs!!

    I love, love, LOVE this link up!! Seriously - it has helped so much! I've been trying to lose weight for three months and it wasn't until this link up began that I actually started to see some weight shift! Every time I want to take a bite of that piece of cake, I remember I have to link up on Thursday and I put it down.
    I love the accountability, the motivation, the inspiration - I just LOVE it!!!!

  9. I think it is one of the best link-ups! especially when you are in slump! However, I do se where it could it redundant and old... with that being said I would just suggest holding off for a month or so and then rebooting! I think it will be an especially good link up around January and the holidays when it is difficult to find time and energy to work-out!

  11. I SO SO SO love this... because it keeps me accountable and no matter how bad or good im doing im posting about it! and i think that mentally that is SO HEALTHY! :) i would so link up either way ... if you chose the subject or not! :) i would write about the topic and update on my weight! :)

    on a diff note.. YOU ARE DOING amazing! 12 lbs in 6 weeks and a bahama vaca in the middle of that! WELL lets just say A-MAY-zing! :) Your motivation is so inspiring! :)

  12. You look great!! It's so cool to see all the hard work pay off. Personally, I really like this link-up. It's inspiring to see all the ways people choose to be healthy and have fun! And it gives me ideas for my own journey too. Please, please don't end this link-up ... maybe make it alternating weeks so it feels like people have more progress to show?

  13. KRISTEN!!!! I LOVE THIS LINK UP!

    Seriously, my favorite linkup of the week. I love the ability to hold myself accountable to a public audience. When I fail, people cheer me on, when I lose a pound or keep strict with my workout, people say great job.

    I can understand it could get boring, but that's the best part, to do good work and eats to not make it boring.

    If you do another inspire me with decor, I'll probably linkup too. I just love the fitness aspect so much!

  14. I participate every week, and every week it has inspired so many! I like it, because it has actually kept me accountable and has allowed me to share many of the secrets I have. Even if y'all migrate to new topics, I may switch it up and do both. I'm trying to do less link ups these days, but so far I have been religious doing this one! You look amazing girl! But I already told you that ;)

  16. I say keep the link-up!!! It's helped me stay motivated! It's so helpful having so many people "behind me" & encouraging me! Plus, it's a great way to keep myself accountable! After posting my "before" pics last week, I knew that I had to make some sort of progress by this week. Even though it's not as good as I would have liked, I couldn't let myself or anyone else down! I've already put myself out there in a public forum... How embarrassing would that have been to not follow through & improve when I've had all of these people, my friends encouraging me!

  17. I stopped linking up only because I got injured and I think people got tired of hearing me complain. I think it's a fantastic link up and actually inspires people to hold themselves accountable. You look great and I hope you continue this link up! I do like the idea of giving people the choice though.

  21. I wonder if the end of summer has anything to do with a slow-down in links? I know for me, I have been so busy with end of summer birthdays, work events, family events and BBQ's. I haven't linked up the last few weeks, just because I have been super busy (and therefore not exercising or watching what I eat). Next week... I'll be back!

    And congrats! Personally, I love the link-up. You could always mix it up, but keep it health inspired. For example, people could post about various topics health related. Maybe why they're inspired.. Is there a wedding coming up? Or maybe vacation, etc. Or how are they inspired. Is it looking at pictures of hot ladies they wanna look like? Or maybe certain music helps them exercise, etc. Does that make sense? Like I said, I love the current link-up. These are just ideas to mix it up. Thanks for doing it!

  24. You look amazing! You stomach is so flat!! No matter how skinny I am I always have a little pouch. So I'm totally jealous.

    I really like this link-up.. But, I haven't done it the past 2 weeks because I haven't had much time to make any progress and I feel guilty linking up just to say that I really shouldn't be linking up..

    I personally like the idea of having a choice between 2 different ones. That way people who have a bad week with their diet or work out plan (like me) can still link up.

  29. I love the link up! It keeps me accountable, and by reading everyone else's comments, it keeps them accountable too. Maybe an option to write about another choice besides fitness is a good idea. I think I'd stick with health though.

  30. Hell no. Keep the link up. It's helping. People are going to fall off because that's what people do, but they will get back on track eventually. We need to keep a consistent link up going to help us reach our goals.

    Kristin, I'm not lying when I tell you that this link up has helped me. I truly get inspired when I read everyone else's posts. It motivates me to keep going.

I say keep it the way it is, although I would love to participate in the other link ups that you mentioned as well. Congrats on your 12 pounds, that is so awesome and girl, you look great!! :)

  34. Please don't do other options!! There are enough home decor and 'what I wore Wednesday' link-ups out there! (And as for vacation spots-I have a weekly 'travel party' on my blog...hehe.)

    I love coming here (even if I don't have anything to link up) just to see other people's progress and become inspired. Don't give up! :)

  35. Kristen, you look amazing! Your WW progress and the inspire me link ups are really helping motivate me. I joined WW in March and lost 7lbs really fast. Then I went on Vaca and didn't keep it up. Now I am kicking myself because I couldn't get back on track and am back to my almost heaviest weight. I am trying super hard to get back in the swing of WW and you are helping so THANK YOU!!!
