See Im at work conference and I knew I would be neglecting this here little blog this week so I thought it would be a perfect idea to let my newest bloggy bud Raven guest post for all of you. I told her "anything goes" and that she could post about "whatever" so I shouldve EXPECTED Tuesday's post. I mean she does tell me to have baby Wylie's on the REG. But none-the-less I still spit my iced tea all over my screen when I read the post Monday.

Here's whats up!
Last week I struggled through the weekend, which this week I improved on! Only to come to a conference for work which is literally IMPOSSIBLE to diet through. We eat out and have drinks through EVERY single meal and party every night. The fact that we are entertaining clients makes it even harder to turn down drinks and eat super healthy. This week has without doubt been the hardest on my diet.
With that said, I had no choice other than to add my workouts back in.
I knew I NEEDED them to burn off these extra calories and to keep the pounds off!
Heres the stats!
Days on WW: 24
Weight Lost this week: 1 lbs
Total Weight Lost: 8lbs
I dont have photos this week because it would be VERY AWKWARD to ask my co-workers (all male) to take a photo of me in my heart bikini for my blog!
And its just 1lb so Im sure I look like this still!
I only lost 1lb but I am actually VERY happy with this! I thought I wouldve gained weight this week and better than anything I feel good and I think Im looking better! The 4 short days Ive been working out have me sore and I feel myself beginning to tone already!
Ive been using Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred because I LOVE it!
Its only 20 minutes long and I feel beat every time I finish which makes me sure its working! If youre looking for a video that you can do in the privacy of your home thats doable for anyone, try this one!

That is awesome that you were still able to lose weight after not being in the best environment! If that doesn't tell you you can do it, then what does? Thanks for being such an inspiration!
ReplyDeletethe 30 day shred is awesome. I did the first 10 days before I slacked out. BUt I did like it a lot. so I might just get back into it!!!!

ReplyDeleteYou look awesome! Congrats on the weight loss in the midst of a work conference, every time I'm away for work my work out routine goes right out the window and in comes the constant restaurant meals and drinks *oy*.
ReplyDeleteLOOOOVE the 30 Day Shred! It'll make you sore in places you didn't know muscles existed! I actually "shredded" last night after work because I didn't get to the gym and we had a birthday at the office so I indulged in fried chicken and ice cream cake which packs a lot more calories than my usual lean cuisine :-P
Thats so great! Congrats on the 1lb :) I have a love hate relationship with Jillian Michaels but she gets it done! I am doing her 6 week 6 pack dvd and its kicking my ass :)

ReplyDeleteThat's great that you were able to still lose weight while at your conference! And just wanted to say that I love (not exactly while doing it) Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. I use it a lot when I don't have very much time to workout. Even though it's only 20 minutes I still feel like a get a good workout and it's great that she mixes strength, cardio and abs!

ReplyDeleteGirl, I couldn't stick with Jillian Michaels for more than a week, so you go! She kicked my ass and forced me to drink more wine to soothe my sore muscles. Ok, maybe she didn't force me.. but it totally helped.

You still look great! It is hard to stay on track and I know what you mean about work. It is hard when you have to eat and drink and can't explain to people "oh, I'm on WW I can't eat that". I love this link up and love reading other girls' stories and successes. Keep it up!
ReplyDelete1 pound is 1 pound less than you were last week, it's slow going, but that is the right way to do it. And I totally wish you would have asked your coworkers to take photos, for us, you should have done it for us. :)

That's awesome that you still lost a pound! I have the hardest time consistently losing weight. I'll lose a few pounds, gain a few pounds, and the cycle continues. So losing a pound during your hardest week so far? I'm inspired! :)
ReplyDeleteDying laughing about the preggo post. When I read it I wasn't judging about the baby before marriage.. because I was that baby and my parents got married and still are.. But, I was like wait.. isn't she trying to lose weight?.. Raven is hilarious! But, losing a pound is better than gaining! I have 30 day shred and I need to get back to using it! It's a killer workout!
