Its Thursday! Which lucky for me is my Friday. As soon as this clock hits 5 Ill be on the road to see my Boo in the Big D. Thank God for a 3 day weekend!
So I know I told yall Fridays were going to be my Weight Watcher check in day but Im always WAY busy on Fridays either traveling to Dallas or getting ready for Chris to come here so Ive decided for Thursdays to be WW Progress Day!!
So here you have it!!
Stats:
Days on WW: 10
Weight Loss: 5 lbs
This Week's Challenges: Learning what foods are worth the points. Refraining from fast food after boozing!
Motivation: Pinning fitness inspiration on Pinterest
I successfully stuck to the program and kept honest to the point system all week! It was way easier than I thought it would be. I quickly learned that the weekends will be my "temptation days". When you add alcohol, late nights and being out and about to my days its WAY easier to eat food/drinks that are high in points. I spent a little time Friday figuring out how many points my drinks were and I made sure not to go over once we were out. I used all of the "extra points" allotted for the week on Friday and Saturday which resulted in a one pound gain Sunday evening. I jumped back on track Sunday and Ive lost another pound this week!
So here are my photos!! I think you can see some difference but nothing drastic.
This is Day 1 & Day 10.... 5 lbs lost!
Lets pray that ass gets a little smaller by next week!! I know my stomach, boobs and arms will be the first to shed the weight which is why my ass pic didnt change much. Hopefully next week.

I'd love a link up! I eat clean and have a lost a decent amount this summer. Before a hard workout I pull up pinterest photos on my phone and look at pics for a few minutes.... seriously helps!

ReplyDeleteAren't those Pinterest before and after pictures awesome? You always see the pictures of the skinny models but it's rare that you see someone before they got that body. Totally makes it seem reachable! :)
There is definitely a small difference already! Way to go! However, you actually have a great body with curves and all because it's not too skinny, not too big, but I know how tough it is to please ourselves (Ew, hope that's not weird of me to say- I am def. not one to say that to another girl, I am just being honest!). So don't get too skinny and look like a stick!

That's great progress in such a short time, I can see a difference in your waist for sure! I'm debating on wheteher or not WW would be a good option for me after I have my baby in October. I just want to make sure it's something I can keep up with while getting used to being a new mama.
ReplyDeleteI recently started using My Fitness Pal app for iPhone and I love it! I've lost 10 pounds so far and hope to lose a healthy 15 more!! I also semi count points with WW! Some days fluctuate! Good Luck, and I love reading other people progress on blogs!

I like you, have a ba-donk-a-donk and I have just now at 25 been able to somewhat accept that I'll be able to tone and tighten, but shrinking it to the size of some of these girls I see, just aint happenin. So hard to swallow that pill, but that pic you posted about having a butt like a C, are things that make me go, "Yea!" I'd totally do a link up with you to keep myself accountable. Its so easy to slack on workouts and eating.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE Skinny Taste - http://www.skinnytaste.com/ she does weight watchers friendly food and has calculated all the points for you and the food is delicious! If you are lacking some healthy recipes (because I can't see another oreo/cookie/cheesecake/brownie pin!) she has some great ones you can try out!

Kristen! I love your blog and always enjoy hearing about all the different things you, your boo, and pups are getting in to! ReplyDeleteAwesome job!! Losing 5lbs or 50lbs is something to celebrate!! I lost 45lbs last year and have kept 35 off. It's hard work and dedication. I have learned not to deprive myself. If I want it, I have it I truly believe it is all smart eating and portion control. I have tried WW - it worked but for me the Fitness Pal App is my BFF!! LOVE it!!
