Lets Talk Baby Fever and Jackasses

Saturday we spent the day celebrating Chris and Jamie's birthdays by the pool! My favorite summer days are spent with my best friends at the pool! This girl LOVES the sun and its perfect pool weather in Houston right now. By mid-May you wont be able to be outside for more than an hour without being brutally sunburnt and having a heat stroak and Im not joking! Its 100+ by June! So we embrace the "cool" summer weather while we can and by cool I mean it was in the 90s Saturday!

Anywho, My FAVORITE little munchkin came to play! Reghina was one of my first friends to have a baby, that I get to see all the time, so Im really close with this little one!

I mean who in the world wouldnt be on cloud 9 to play with her!! Sweetest baby bear ever!

Well, there was a guy acquaintance of one of our friends {insert jackass here} who had quite the smart mouth. You know, one of those people who immediately feels like he knows you well enough to say whatever he wants {insert rude, smart ass shit here}. Typically I can find some humor in these people. He on the otherhand was a completely different story. If he said "OHHHHHH someone has baby fever" one time he said it 300. I kid you not, he spent at least 30 minutes telling my boyfriend to "wrap up twice" {Dumb fuck... Any and everyone knows using 2 condoms only causes more friction and causes both condoms to break. Did you NOT listen in sex education??} and to "watch me" because I was going to get "accidently" pregnant and trap him! Lets get something straight real quick, Ive been around the block a time or two and I am fully aware of the fact that "trapping" someone by having a baby DOES NOT WORK nor would I EVER even think of doing such a thing. The only person who ends up "trapped" is the Mother caring for the child. Who in the world thinks its okay to say things like this to people he doesnt KNOW. I was so shocked that I didnt even have a smart ass comment to shoot back at him which is so unlike me.

Regardless of his ignorance, what really upset me is how I felt like I had to defend myself.

WHY Kristen? There is NOTHING wrong with having a baby. I am 26 years old. I have a damn good job and I have no doubt that if I found out tomorrow I was pregnant that I would be the BEST Momma in the world. Tugger can vow to that shizz right there! And there is NOTHING wrong with loving children. Why does it have to be "all baby" or "no baby"? Why cant women in their 20s love on children without immediately being accused of having "baby fever". No jackass I do not have any fever to reproduce. I actually get vodka fever every Friday, which a pregnancy would interfere with. Why cant I just LOVE this baby because she's absolutely KICKASS and playing with her brings out the child in me which I absolutely LOVE!?!  

Personally I think you would have to be heartless not to LOVE that smile.

So here's to LOVING babies even if Im not ready to have one!!

And to loving their Momma's too!!

 I really wish people would just leave others be!! And keep their comments to themselves! Because calling me a conniving baby fever twenty something is RUDE!!

And for the record my boyfriend was the sweetest AMAZING guy throughout the whole ordeal!! Apparently he doesnt think Im out to trap him!!
